ARRIVAL BY BUS
from Fortaleza: departs Now only GUANABARA at 6, 8, 10, 12:30, 14:30, 18 and 21 o´clock, arrival six and a half hours later.

 any bus from Fortaleza to Teresina, São Luís, Belém (Guanabara bus line), or Viçosa do Ceará (Expresso Serrano), will stop in Tianguá, from which there are numerous connections to Ubajara (see below).
from Jericoacoara:

 there are also many vans leaving Tianguá for Ubajara, but these
frequent departures occur from the town center, not the bus station.
ARRIVING BY CAR

Highway BR-222 will bring you from Teresina (300 km) or Fortaleza (340 km) until
you reach the town of Tianguá. From there, head south 17 km to Ubajara.

From Parnaíba (200 km), you head to Cocal, then Viçosa do Ceará, and then Tianguá. The road is completely asphalted with the exception of 20 km near Cocal.
REACHING SÍTIO DO ALEMÃO FROM UBAJARA

From Ubajara, there are four options to get to the sítio:
1. A normal taxi will cost R$ 30.00. (Ask for "SEE-tchee-oo doo ah-lay-MOW").
2. A moto-taxi (motorbike) will cost R$ 8.00 per person.
3. Herbert can bring you (for free if he's in the city already): 99961-4645.
4. You can walk the 4.5 km, heading toward the national park and veering right on the
dirt road after Pousada Neblina, and then continuing 1.3 km. It's on the left.
